It seems that life has toned down quite a bit. In a way, peacefully withdrawn. 2012 has been easy going, with no major events. Life has become a routine, with no need to break much into many new ventures.
A new thing I did for myself was to go for the kayaking course this year, which I am glad I did, as it has always been on my mind to go into another water sport. Being in or on water has always been calming for me. Learning about water sports and the water environment deepens the respect for water environments, which is something I enjoy in tranquility. When I am alone on the water, I depend on myself and the understanding of the surroundings, the concentration and calmness of the mind is necessary to overcome any adversity that can arise without notice. The solitary is also an aspect that I appreciate.
I tried to start thinking further into the future. It is pretty difficult. I can be quite sure of finances, which was always been the cornerstone of my adult plans. In other aspects of life, I do not think I am anywhere good. I don’t know how life will change ahead.
As the years go by, I do not really share much about myself. It’s alright, because it is a choice I made. I am not sure who is interested in listening to me or paying attention. Perhaps it is the notion of being comfortable with myself and learning to be just me.
