This seems to be a year where things are working out right. I think I am taking care of myself right and it helps that those efforts bear fruits.
On the work front, the recent new appointment meant greater expectations from myself and from others. The learning process has been good, with many colleagues supporting me and my decisions. This is especially important for a young person helming a larger role with greater impact. With the successful interview, the real work begins as I explore this new role in a new team. The unknowns are plenty, but with the right attitude and drive, those can be ironed out and established right.
I have also put in quite a bit of time for my health and body, ever since going for the personal trainer course. Physically, I have gotten fitter, which is a good gain since I started working out at the gym. Building myself up has been fun and provided many benefits, one of which is to structure my time and priorities. Of course, looking better is the reward too.
For the money matters, I have been tightening expenditure to ensure sufficient funds for the house. I have stopped increasing the amount set aside for investments and just watching the portfolio for now. The goal is to increase the reserve amounts I have for, a more stable and secure outlook. So, things look pretty fine and expected. The construction progress of the house has been fast and smooth, I have been occasionally making a trip to look at the site to watch the development. It is exciting to see the stages of completion and I am dreaming of the actual day I enter the apartment.
